Being completely plant based, Hemp Protein Powder is rich in fibre and great for detoxification of the body. Here is a recipe of a smoothie that has the goodness of fibrous hemp protein as well as the immunity boosting turmeric.
Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana
- 1/2 green apple, cored and chopped
- 1 medium-sized carrot, peeled and chopped
- 1 handful baby spinach
- 1 (1/4-inch) nub turmeric root, peeled
- 1 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 3 walnut halves
- 2 Tbsp Hemp Protein Powder
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 1 pinch cinnamon, optional
- 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
Method
- Add all the ingredients in a blender and blend till smooth. Taste the smoothie and adjust by adding more/less cinnamon or honey.
