Combine calcium rich curd with omega rich flax seeds to make a delectable flax seed raita, the perfect accompaniment to your lunch or dinner. You can even add bottle gourd to add more volume to the dish.


  • 1 cup curd
  • 3 tbsp flax seed (ground)
  • 1 cup cucumber (grated)
  • 1/2 cup mint leaves (chopped)
  • 1 1/2 tsp cumin seeds (roasted, coarsely ground)
  • salt, to taste


Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Refrigerate for at least an hour and serve chilled.
